Occupation & Arrangements
Everybody has a job to do and coordinating job duties amongst specialists is one of the hallmarks of human society. There is one word that means occupation or profession in Hîsyêô: wêloi. As a verb, it requires some care with your sentence structure.
Within a profession, one has various job duties or tasks, and these are often translated with the generic word for doing (tûu). There is no exact equivalent word for the English catch-all words "job" and "work".
If you are speaking of specialization and expertise, use wêloi.
If you are thinking of a task or a group of tasks (whether specific or not), use tûu.
